Mr. Dharmasiri Wickramatilaka brings over 25 years of SME banking experience to his new role as CEO of Sarvodaya Development Finance. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Wickramatilaka was Senior Vice President (Branch Banking and SME) of DFCC Bank, responsible for driving SME business units which includes 82 Branches and 55 smaller delivery points. He handled an asset portfolio of over Rs. 90 Bn. He was leading a team of 7 Regional Managers and all Branch Managers. He had deep involvement in strategy formulations, plan implementation, budgeting, monitoring and effecting corrective actions, motivating staff and staff development, staff mentoring etc. He has been a Member of the Executive Committee, Credit Committee, Assets and Liability Committee, Special Loans Review Committee and IT Steering Committee. His dynamic track record and professionalism will be the driving force for the company in the years ahead.
Mr. Wickramatailaka is an alumnus of the Moratuwa University and is also a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with full Accountancy Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Furthermore, he holds an MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Technology of Bangkok, Thailand.

J Chandana Deshantha De Alwis joined the family of DDFC in May 2013. He assumed duties as the Deputy General Manager – Finance and Planning and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (FCCA), Institute of Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCMA) and also of the Cambridge Association of Managers, UK (FCAM). Mr. De Alwis
counts over 22 years of experience in the financial services sector specialising in Merchant Banking, Finance and Planning, Treasury Management, MIS and Administration. Prior to joining Sarvodaya Development Finance Limited, he held the positions
of General Manager – Finance and Administration at Mercantile Merchant Bank Limited and was the Deputy Financial Controller at Alliance Finance Company PLC, where he gained thorough experience at the strategic level of operations in relation to all the
key business activities of a Finance Company
Assistant General Manager –
Kenneth joined SEEDS (Gte) Limited in 2011 as Chief of Audit and was attached to SDF as the
AGM Operations till Feburary 2015. Thereafter, he was designated as AGM Internal Audit, in view of
his experience as the Internal Auditor at SEEDS. Since April 2016, he has now been re-designated
as AGM – Alternate Channels, as the Company is embarking on a project to go into branchless
banking. Kenneth commenced his career at HNB and then moved to Seylan Bank PLC, Pan Asia
Bank and Sanasa Development Bank where he specialized in Operations, Credit, International
Trade and Risk Management. Kenneth is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri
AGM - Credit
Janaka counts over 16 years of experience in the Banking and Finance sector, He assumed duties
as AGM – Credit in January 2016. Prior to joining SDF, Janaka was attached to Nations Trust Bank
PLC in the capacity of Manager - Corporate Banking. During his tenure in the Banking Sector, he
has served at NDB, Royal Bank of Scotland (UK), DFCC and Sanasa Development Bank PLC,
specializing in SME and Corporate Credit. Janaka is an Associate Member of CIMA (UK) and a
Level 3 candidate of the CFA Program.

Rasika Epasinghe who joined Sarvodaya Development Finance in February 2013 as AGM –
Marketing and Business Development counts over 22 years of experience in the fields of Banking,
Marketing and Business Development, has been re-designated as AGM – Branch Operations and
Marketing, with effect from March 2015. Having begun his career as a Banker at Seylan Bank PLC,
where he served for a period of six years, Rasika went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration with a dual major in Marketing and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in
Marketing from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and a Diploma in Credit Management
from the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka (IBSL). Rasika has held senior positions as Manager –
Operations at Micro Cars Limited, Marketing Manager at Diesel & Motor Engineering (DIMO) PLC,
Brand Manager for Castrol Lubricants and Goodyear Tyres at Associated Motorways (AMW) PLC.
He was also the Manager – Key Accounts, United Motors PLC and Manager – Hire Purchase and
Business Development, Hunter and Company PLC. A Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing
(SLIM), Rasika is also a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management (UK), a member of the
Chartered Management Institute (UK), the American Marketing Association, the Canadian Marketing
Association and a Member of the Alumni Association of the Northwood University of USA. Rasika
Epasinghe is an All Island Justice of the Peace.
Assistant General Manager -
Dilushi Dabare joined Sarvodaya Development Finance Ltd on the 2nd of November 2015. She is a
professionally qualified banker with 24 years of service. Having begun her career at Seylan Bank
PLC where she served for 20 years, she managed areas of Banking Operations, Credit, Trade
Finance, Audit and Branch Finance. Prior to joining SDF, she was at State Bank of India in the
capacity of Risk Manager for 3 years. At SBI Dilushi was responsible for establishing risk tolerance,
approving related strategies and policies, monitoring and assessing the activities of management,
overseeing policy compliance and the effectiveness of the risk framework to meet the requirements
of applicable regulations and interests of stakeholders.
She has completed ICA International Diploma in Compliance, (UK); Advance Risk Management
(IBSL); Certificate program on Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations (IBSL); Risk and
Treasury Management Diploma (IBSL). While at Seylan Bank PLC she read for her PhD in
Management at the University of Honolulu (USA); MBA (USA); AIB (SL) as well as ACIM (SL).
Dilushi is a fellow in Certified Managers at Cambridge Association of Managers (UK); Fellow of the
Institute of Professional Financial Managers (UK) and was actively involved in the Association of
Banking Sector Risk Professionals (SL).

Hareendra Jayasuriya joined DDFC on 11th March 2015 and counts over 26 years of experience in
the field of Human Resources Management in diverse sectors, including Service, Manufacturing,
FMCG, Automobile, Health Care, Sales and Distribution, Printing and Hospitality. Prior to joining
Sarvodaya Development Finance Limited he was the Head of HR and Admin at Everest Industries
Lanka, an UAE based company in FTZ Sri Lanka. He had been at Hettigoda Group (Siddhalepa) as
Group HR Manager for 5 years, Zhida Group Chinese-based BOI Company as the Manager – HR
and Finance for 4 years and Sampath Bank PLC, where he commenced his HR career for 14 years.
Hareendra is an Associate Member of the Institute of Personnel Management and Institute of
Training and Development Sri Lanka.
Head Of Information Technology
Rohan Peiris has been in the IT Sector for over 30 years with primary focus in Commercial Banking.
He joins the SDF family on 13th January 2016. He obtained his Masters in IT from Keele University
UK and also been a member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), Chartered Information
Technology Professional (CITP) of the British Computer Society, Member of the Computer Society
of Sri Lanka (MCSL), Member of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (MIEEE) and a
Member of the Project Management Institute UK (MPMI). He also is an ITIL V3 Certified
Prior to joining SDF, he was the Head of IT (DGM) at Bank of Ceylon, Head of IT at DFCC Vardhana
Bank, VP - IT Operations DFCC Bank, Head of IT at Pan Asia Bank, Head if IT / Manager IT at
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka. In addition, he was also appointed as the Country IT Consultant by ILO
and also served as a Consultant Project Manager at a leading Software Company primarily involved
in the development of Application Software to the Financial Sector.
